I've been going more frequently to the gateway this past year and it has not disappointed! They've been having free events to celebrate cultures with local vendors. It's been so much fun to see this mall full again! I was able to capture moments in the art gallery during the Juneteenth festivities. The curator of the event was extremely kind and very talented.

This place has so much to do like Wiseguys, Dave and Busters, to the children museum, movie theater, escaped room and a bar. Great food court with lots of options and finer restaurants too. Different events throughout the year. There are servel buildings that are empty hopefully that will change soon as it's a fun place to go. And a lot of other places to explore.

Gateway Mall in Salt Lake City, Utah is a vibrant and enjoyable place to visit. Thus outdoor mall has a great mix of shops, restaurants, and entertainment options, making it perfect not just for shopping but also for spending quality time with family and friends. The atmosphere is lively yet relaxed, with open spaces and a modern, welcoming layout. The stores are well maintained, and the overall experience feels pleasant and comfortable. What stands out most is how clean and organized the mall is, along with the friendly and helpful staff at various locations. Gateway Mall is a wonderful urban destination that combines shopping, dining, and leisure in one place. Definitely worth a visit when in Salt Lake City.

Awesome place to hang out in SLC - so many activities and great food choices. Love the Art everywhere too! So many cool things to do and check out - literally spend the whole day there!

I absolutely love the Gateway, my little ones love it too. It's the best place for them to learn grow and explore. Being the age they are it's a plus for parents to have as much fun going along and having the memories of what being that age was like. I went here when I was little and I still love it as an adult. Staff are also kind and friendly. If you go try to catch the train show those are cool to watch.

If you want to explore the city this is a really great way to do so! The murals are incredible and the food is fantastic! Just make sure you settle your parking situation and you can walk easily from block to block without to much worry. Sometimes traffic can get a little heavy depending on the time and local events but it can be relatively worked around with planning ahead and a little patience. Overall very fun place!

This was a very nice place for adults and families. Lots of great restaurants, taco ice cream anyone? If you’re bringing kids, there’s nice areas to hang out or if you wanna spend some money and have some fun. There’s an illusion, museum, a children’s museum and Dave & Buster’s.

The New Year 2026 countdown celebration was a BLAST!! Great DJ/music. Very large crowd. Glad to see security checkpoints. Fireworks and music went hand in hand creating an awesome celebratory atmosphere! Love that you can see the whole space from above. The bars and lounges nearby are good hangout spaces when outside got too cold. One shortfall: I wish they use the large TV screens more effectively to show the time for count down.
